In his 20 years as a plastic surgeon, Dr. Picha has performed approximately 1000 + breast augmentations, 500 + face lifts and several hundred body sculpting procedures. He is not only a plastic surgeon but also holds a Pd. D. in biomedical engineering. He is unique and precise in his approach to treating his patients from the initial consultation to the post-operative phase of a patient’s surgery. A practitioner of Tai-Chi and Yoga he holds a special interest in the inner spirit of the individual.

He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons participating in continuing education and the education of his staff. Dr. Picha specializes in breast augmentation and holds a special interest in the implants themselves, currently serving as the  Chairman of the Implant Retrieval Program for the Allergan Corporation.  Dr. Picha has also worked with NASA in the 1980’s to pioneer surface technology to control rejection of and incidence of contracture. Dr. Picha is also highly skilled in endoscopic facial surgery providing a more rapid recovery due to the ability to make minimal incisions. Other procedures performed include liposuction, tummy tucks, breast reduction, facelifts and rhinoplasty. In his more non-invasive treatments Dr. Picha takes an artistic approach to the use of Botox, enabling him to contour and lift the brow, and in his techniques with soft tissue fillers (see Non-Invasive Treatments) that can help reduce the appearance of lines around the eyes and mouth.
